We strive to produce and serve the very best food and drink, if we can't grow or produce it we use local suppliers from as close to home as possible.

Digital Marketing & Communications Assistant (Part-Time) – Maternity Cover
Location: White Row Farm, Beckington
Contract: Up to 12 months (Maternity Cover)
Hours: 30 hours per week PART TIME
(Tue-Fri, with some minimal remote weekend work)
Closing Date: Sunday, 23rd February.
About White Row Farm
White Row Farm is a thriving, family-run business with over 40 years of history. We are a working Farm, and we proudly grow and supply fresh, homegrown produce to our Farm Shop Butchers Deli Gift Shop & Florist Fishmongers Café and Fish & Chip Shop.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-focused Digital Marketing & Communications Assistant to provide maternity cover and work closely with our Marketing & Communications Manager.
You will play a key role in managing social media content creation, digital marketing and customer engagement. If you’re confident, creative have exceptional writing skills, impeccable grammar, and a strong grasp of spelling and punctuation and are passionate about digital marketing, this could be the perfect fit!
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a social media strategy to enhance engagement and visibility.
- Create high-quality, compelling content across multiple platforms, including blogs, newsletters, videos, stories, reels and posts.
- Ensure all copy is flawless, engaging, and SEO-optimised.
- Plan and schedule social media activity in line with our marketing calendar.
- Manage customer interactions across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, TripAdvisor and Mailchimp, responding professionally to enquiries, reviews, and complaints.
- Analyse content performance and adjust strategies for better engagement.
- Assist with other marketing and admin tasks as needed.
Education & Experience:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above), including English Language & Literature (Grade 5/B or higher).
- 3+ years experience in a similar digital marketing role or a relevant degree with experience.
- Strong, demonstrable writing skills—your application should reflect excellent grammar, spelling, and fluency.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
- Experience managing business social media accounts. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Proven ability to write engaging content—blogs, captions, email marketing, and more.
- Have a very high standard of literacy with good all-round writing and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to write optimised content.
- Experience in video creation and editing-CapCut, Canva or similar.
- Confident in front-facing communication, including video conferencing, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Outgoing, articulate, and proactive—a natural communicator.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- A keen eye for design, branding, and emerging digital trends.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Flexibility is essential during busy periods.
- Understanding of the importance of corporate identity, including tone of voice and branding.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook and Instagram Ads.
- Knowledge of existing and emerging social media platforms.
- Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT or similar, for content creation and marketing efficiencies.
